Efke R100 - Ghost frame

Post by alexvaras »

Hi all,

Recently I got one Yashica 44 LM, 127 film camera and with it, it came two rolls of Efke R100 unopened.
It’s a 44 TLR so 12 photos, after development I got 12 photos and this one in the middle, that photo in the middle is not mine.

Tomorrow I will scan it, now it’s drying...
Did this happen to anyone before? With this film? Any other?

Thank you for looking
Alex

Jack's the paranormal investigator now. Ozzy is just paranormal.

No, I haven’t seen it, my tv remains off 97% of the time.

Some update about the frame.
I wrote the previous owner and he recognized the porch of his house, it seems he loaded one roll and tested the film winding (but he claims he didn’t go any exposure ) and loaded the film back and sealed It again.
The second roll Is not opened as he says :)

No need for the Osbourne so far.

LoL!!! I had heard of quality issues and ghosts but that is the most logical explanation!
If you can't fix it with a hammer... you got an electrical problem
even duct tape can't fix stupid.... but it can muffle it (SilentObserver)

As an old folklorist, I too love ghost stories explained! :).
What a shame about the loss of your own frames. But it is great story.

It was really fun, Efke rolls are enclosed with some kind of foil paper (aluminum kind) and it can be opened and closed carefully and all will be fine, as well the cardboard box can be opened and closed so I was not aware of any manipulation until the seller said so.
I can repeat the shots spoiled, as usual teachers from school and they will like to pose for another shot.
