Seek info re free panorama software

Post by LesGediman »

I am looking for a free panorama stitching software that is also free of malware. Does one exist?

I know Microsoft used to have one.
If we all saw the world the same no one would need a camera.

Thanks Larry!

I've downloaded MS ICE and will begin stitching pano pics PDQ. If it's successful, I'll post my first pano using digital stitching.

Crossing my fingers!

Best regards,

I don't have the link to give you but search 'Serif Panorama'. It is easy [for me?]

This about 5 or 6 shots stitched.

A few years ago, when I was more interested in panorama photography then nowadays, there was a lot to do on the internet about PT Tools : http://www.ptgui.com/panotools.html
There is still a free trial version of this which can be downloaded.

Hugin - free, open source and available for Windows, Mac and Linux. It has an easy wizard mode, or you can delve into the bowels if you really want. There are a bunch of very useful tutorials available too.
