Light leak in Autocord

Post by Julio1fer »

My Autocord developed a light leak, which was traced to the old seals. Had to shoot a test roll to confirm it; some frames came out well enough anyway. You can see the leak in some of the pictures.

In the Rosedal (rose garden), few roses but interesting old iron structures and shadows.

In this frame I had a developing issue:

I confess to never having checked before the health of the old worn seals. Obvious, once found.

The Autocord is a favorite camera, I am really glad to have found the leak. As Covid is getting under control down here, photography becomes possible again, even in our rainy and gray winter.

I like this a lot
If you can't fix it with a hammer... you got an electrical problem
even duct tape can't fix stupid.... but it can muffle it (SilentObserver)
