Re: Keep getting kicked off the Forum
That's interesting about not being logged off, because I constantly have to log back in. However, I did have to make a small change on the admin side. It's a real shame, because all of these things generally are because of the need to protect the site from spammer and hackers.

Re: Brooklyn from a Box
Is that the prewar or postwar Box Tengor? I'm a big fan of the postwar camera.

Re: Leica IIIf back from DAG overhaul Test Roll
Oh, yeah - these look good (although not the streaks). I just bought another Leica IIIf, too. It should arrive later this week. I need it for a video project.
I sold my other Leicas about 10 years ago. Do you like the Summaron or the Elmar. The Elmar looks very sharp.

The Pentax K1000
In this video, I look at the Pentax K1000 and try to explain its popularity. When I was looking for a new 35mm camera back in 1978, I looked at the K1000 briefly. However, I wanted more than an entry level camera and never gave it serious consideration. 40+ years later, it was fun to give it another...

Re: Agfa Isolar 9x12cm plate camera
Hey, Paul - did you rough up the bottom of the tray to prevent the film from sticking while processing? I've heard that some people did that for that very reason.

The Ducati Sogno
This week, I did a video on the tiny Ducati Sogno. It's a half-frame camera that uses a swinging wedge prism that is similar to a Contax.
I shot a couple of rolls through this camera, but its film cassette got lost in one of my four moves since 2011.

Santiago, it's great to see you and Nicholas! And I'm happy to hear that Nicholas is still shooting film.

New feature - You can now 'like' a post
It took a while, but you can now "like" a post. Click the gray smiley face on the right side of the post: post-like2.png You can then select from one of seven Facebook-like images. It took a long time to find one of these that worked. For some reason, the developers of the forum software o...
