Re: B&W Reversal

With the Rodinal / PC-TEA suggestion I was more thinking of reducing the number of variables between what worked for me, and what didn't quite work for you. I did the bleach at 30C, Peroxide is 3% and using White Vinegar (the cheapest stuff, useful for cleaning too). I use tap water for everything, ...

Re: B&W Reversal

ISTR the gold/brown staining is down to the bleach (there was a thread on APUG).

How long between the two attempts, or did you mix fresh bleach each time? What temperature was the bleach? Do you have any Rodinal or PC-TEA?

You've now made me think I need to try this again, perhaps with 120.

Re: Burton Prong in Fog

Nice! Looks like it would make an alternative process print. My muscle memory went on holiday the other day. Had the big Fuji, one shot left on the roll, nice scene on the beach with all the driftwood. So, pull the rubber lens hood forward, get momentarily distracted. Get the framing just right, tak...

Fascinating, fantastic read!

Next step, a kickstarter campaign for a home film-coating lab-in-a-box ? :D (Just joking!!!)

Re: Super Wester Rehab Questions...

Please don't bin it. I'd take it, but I fear the postage from the US to NZ would be rather expensive.

Re: Pen D3 - long roll in half frame

That's a nice slice of local life, and good to see the boats again.

Which 400 speed film did you use? I struggle to shoot a roll of normal 35mm, if I got a half frame I'd need to roll my own!

Re: Perkeo, again

The lest trendy lenses work pretty well stopped down. What a shame you can't explore those old buildings more. Here we have very few abandoned buildings, and "health and safety" prevent you getting close. There's a Perkeo E for sale on our local auction site, but the price is a rather stee...

Re: A splash of colour

Beautiful colors, Paul. Wouldn't it be neat to have a digital camera with all the film simulations built in that you could select 12/24/36 frame runs before it would stop and ask you if you wanted to change the simulation, or continue on with the current selection? PF Thanks, I think the Fuji X Hal...

You must be having a lot of sun to get that deep blue in the sky in “Graffiti Art”.
Not much sun the last few days though! With a polariser, and the clear skies we have, you can turn the sky really dark, even at low altitudes.
