Re: Super Wester Rehab Questions...
Please don't bin it. I'd take it, but I fear the postage from the US to NZ would be rather expensive.

Re: Pen D3 - long roll in half frame
That's a nice slice of local life, and good to see the boats again.
Which 400 speed film did you use? I struggle to shoot a roll of normal 35mm, if I got a half frame I'd need to roll my own!

Re: Perkeo, again
The lest trendy lenses work pretty well stopped down. What a shame you can't explore those old buildings more. Here we have very few abandoned buildings, and "health and safety" prevent you getting close. There's a Perkeo E for sale on our local auction site, but the price is a rather stee...

Re: A splash of colour
Beautiful colors, Paul. Wouldn't it be neat to have a digital camera with all the film simulations built in that you could select 12/24/36 frame runs before it would stop and ask you if you wanted to change the simulation, or continue on with the current selection? PF Thanks, I think the Fuji X Hal...

A splash of colour
Taking a break from black and white film and vintage cameras, and given the nice blue skies, I decided it was time for some colour. I grabbed the Sigma SP2M and headed off on the e-bike. On my ride into work, I'd spotted a couple of spots with some colourful concrete blocks, and a colourful wall. I ...

Re: Photo calendar.
For those of us that deal with sensible date formats
12 February = 122 day
11 June = 116 day
12 June = 126 day
12 July = 127 day
etc.,
Plus of course:
5 April = 5x4" (UK speak)

Re: Pretending to be an XPan
I shot a roll of colour too, and a roll of very expired Agfapan 25. The results from the later were, well, not very good unless you were looking for loads of fog & frame numbers!
Here's a couple of XPan format colour shots - Kodak Gold 200:

Re: Pretending to be an XPan
Grain in the sky is visible, but not bad. One would expect hardly visible grain from a T-grain film in such large negatives, but then I have never tried Delta 100 The "grain" is likely compression artefacts as the full size scans show very little. I only had a red filter which would have ...
