Re: Mando Beauty Shots

Don’t know. FWIW I am a Flickr member too, and both links to the pictures in the first post look pretty similar to me. I can see both pictures in the Flickr site, but in the first post only the second one shows. Weird indeed.

Re: Mando Beauty Shots

Excellent! I like this one better than the second. Again, impressive effect of tilt.

Re: Mando Beauty Shots

Beautiful!! Amazing how tilt gets everything in reasonable focus. There is something in LF indeed.

I only see the second image, was there a first one? There is a little ? sign above the image.

Re: Small progress, tiny camera

Glad of your progress. So many things to go wrong, with original film, slitter, cassette, procedures, camera, development, scanning the tiny negs…Those images look promising!

I have looked more than once to 8x11 Minoxes but never got the courage. 35mm and 120 are hard enough for me.

Moving the flags

I live close to a place where the local Candombe group practices. These are just neighbors that like to play the drums. But they practice like professionals for the big Carnival parade, where they are allowed a pass of three short minutes before the judges’ stand. There are drummers (three different...

Re: Quito

The Cathedral, and the area around it, are some of the nicest places to visit in all of Andean South America. At least that is my recollection.

Waiting for your Quito memories to reach Guayasamin’s museum…
