Re: Trolling pays off...
Nice results in your test! All cameras in that period had their quirks, and users were supposed to adjust. Good job, and hope that you can get the case repaired as you want in the next step. Maybe to shoot portrait format more comfortably with the WLF you can try to orient yourself at 90 degrees ang...

Re: Burton Prong in Fog
After looking for a minute or two, I understood why you wanted to get this image, those branches and reflections in the very still water, through the fog, and the distant island (?) to the left are a beautiful subject. It may be worth exploring digital effects to enhance your cross-processed Provia....

Re: Letchworth Park gelatin dry plate workshop report
Excellent article about the workshop teaching experience. And those images are very impressive. The long exposures make for very interesting effects in flowing water.

Should work if you can get the shutter blades thoroughly dry afterwards. Maybe dunk in a very light solvent as a last pass before drying with air. Watching your progress with interest!

Re: Pen D3 - long roll in half frame
Thanks for the comments!
Really need to finish this 100 ft roll before it turns sour, which is a good incentive to keep shooting.
It was Ilford HP5+, bulk loaded, expired August 2022.Which 400 speed film did you use?

Pen D3 - long roll in half frame
Finally got to roll’s end in the Pen D3. Half frame in this little camera is a pleasure, I should use it more often. Took it first to the Candombe group street rehearsal. They do it at dusk; I shot a long series at 1/100, f/8. They start by preparing the drums. https://hosting.photobucket.com/186bde...
