Thanks for this, P.C. I love this classic / modern design and have two 1035 Sensors, which are probably similar to your Optima Sensor. Don’t know if they still work, because they have been in their box for years. Your pictures and explanations are valuable, there are not too many resources out there...

Looks like you got an excellent instrument there, glad that the overhaul went well. If you ever decide to develop yourself, an alternative to a full darkroom is scanning your negs. Not bad at all! Trying the lens at the larger apertures should help to define if it is a triplet or a Tessar-type design.
