Re: Les Gediman needs some help finding an old post

Thanks Phil for finding my lost document. It was a tedious job to look at all my photos in my PhotoBucket account up to page 55. Thanks for your persistence, which deserves a citation. I'll work on it. Feels so good to come out of hibernation and see so many old friend's.names I now know how Rip van...

Re: Seek info re free panorama software

Thanks Larry!

I've downloaded MS ICE and will begin stitching pano pics PDQ. If it's successful, I'll post my first pano using digital stitching.

Crossing my fingers!

Best regards,

Re: Bluebell Time

Graham, This pales in comparison to your splendid bluebell landscape. The flower is ajuga and each spring it comes in with the grass in our backyard. We call it our pasture. But alas the grass was cut and the ajuga is a memory. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e109/LesGed/PastureofAjugaakaBckyard_e...

Re: Got some Portraits, Selfies and others

Thanks James for your reassurement. Nice to see the portraits of familiar faces through the years. Many tested the waters at Photonet but when a tsunami of disatisfaction came to a head, lots of folks surf-boarded the strong wave over to Nelsonfoto. When it looked like the inertia was weakening the ...

Re: Got some Portraits, Selfies and others

Here is a more casual shot of Claudia taken a few days ago on our back lawn, read pasture. I think she still has that same friendly smile that has enough warmth to radiate even at 86 9/12 years of age. Is love blind? Or am I exaggerating? http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e109/LesGed/ClaudiaampAjuga...

Birthday portrait

Following the tradition of NFf, I'm submitting a birthday portrait made on May 1, 2014 when I attained the age of 88. Usually I posted self-portraits, but this one was taken by my darling wife, Claudia. She has yet to join the PhotographyToday forum, but plans to over the weekend OT: It's also a fir...

Re: 2013 Boston Marathon Memorial Exhibit

Thanks for alerting us about 2013 Boston Marathon Memorial Exhibition. Somehow, I missed seeing any announcement about this important display. I echo Dennis’ comments about the mound of sneakers presentation. They were well arranged and lit, but you chose an ideal POV. It’s another one of your well ...
