Re: Possible future projects

I have an older Motorala Droid X smartphone that is collecting dust. Has a decent little camera on it for what it is. It's small and light and could easily be shipped around the States/World/Whatever. It's got a good battery and a a MicroSD card in it. I could even included a charger for it. Not sur...

Re: Using Google-Plus images here

I've tried using Google + before with this forum and others. Still have never figured out how. Making them public might work. I'll play around with it later. I only upload certain photos to G+ so I'll see if making them public works a little later.

Re: Game Changer

The A7 is an interesting camera that I have been looking at. It's probably the closest thing to my ultimate camera available right now. Re: The Pentacon Electra

I really like the wide open characteristics of the lens. Very cool. You know how many apps there are for phone cameras that try to emulate this?

Re: First pictures with the Bronica S2A

I understand the technical problems with the camera right now but that aside, these looks pretty good. I like how they turned out. The first one really shows off the lens.

Re: Snow Lake, WA

Thanks for the replies everyone. Moved from my home in Texas of 40 years to Seattle about 3 years ago. Can never imagine going back at this point mainly due to places like this. When I want, I can take day trips to some of the most beautiful places on earth from Seattle. Not so much from Houston. ;)...

Re: Game Changer

I still have and use my Nikon D700. No reason for me to upgrade right now as it does everything I need very well. I started out with a D80 DX format body and it was frustrating sometimes given I was so accustom to the 35mm format. It just felt different. When I upgraded to the D700, it was a breath ...

Snow Lake, WA

One of my favorite quick and fairly easy hikes. 40 minute drive, 1.5 hours hike and then, this! One the main reasons I moved to the NW is for easy access to these types of places. Not bad for my phone's camera. Just adjusted the usual contrast, brightness, vibrance, etc. https://farm4.staticflickr.c...
