Looks like the sale is pretty much over. As I mentioned, I purchased a refurbed body + 40-150mm lens with a total of less than US$400. I'm happy...

I think most kit lenses are average at best, but when it dies, it still irks me.

Canon has a new macro lens that has two built-in LED lights. It's a rather novel idea, and you can turn on one or both lights.

It's a 28mm lens...

I just received my Pentax K-mount adapter for the Sony E mount. Seems to be well made, but lenses fit extremely tightly on it. You get what you pay...
