A rechargeable PX625 battery

I've been using these for a couple of months. It has worked in every camera and meter that accepts the old PX625/MR-9/PX13 mercury cell.

I'm going to see if I can recharge these NiMH cells in an older NiMH battery charger from the 1990s, which was built for 1.5-volt AA cells. I think that it should work, but we'll see.

I usually get by well enough with alkalines just by adapting ISO. While it is true that their voltage drops with discharge, many classic camera meters take so little current (less than 0.1 mA, and only when metering) that the cell actually stays close to 1.5 V until it dies of old age or corrosion!

Those falling discharge curves are usually given for hearing aid service, where demand of current is higher.

I saw your video the other day, this is great!
I have few cameras that need Hg batteries anymore but this is a great alternative
