I had one for a short time, i put a SR44 battery with a rubber band and it was within 1/2 stop in the center of the metering range. Chinon-CS
If you can't fix it with a hammer... you got an electrical problem
even duct tape can't fix stupid.... but it can muffle it (SilentObserver) My Flickr -ipernity
Thanks CE Nelson
Yeah, I bought a Wein once, way overpriced but at the time, could peel off the adapter ring and plug in some sized button cell. Did that for years (don't recall what camera I did that for). Been using a hearing aid battery in the Spotmatic forever; thanks for the size for this, Pablo - 1/2 stop is plenty for my purposes. Get me close enough with the films I use to make usable scans. I love that the PX625 is working right now, but expect it not too really quick.
While we're at it, there's a Gossen Super Pilot SBC in there, too, which also took three of those PX625 cells. Not sure it's worth trying to resurrect. I'm guessing I could load it with SR44s and make a cheat sheet, but the response curve would be constantly changing.
Have been pushing a bit too hard on recovery the past week, so I'm on my keister today. Will be a good day to break out some Q-tips and clean up the HaniChinon and throw a roll of Arista 200 in it. Might try to break into the Bolsey.
