That set looks beautiful. How bad do you find using that long lens in a rangefinder camera?

I'm enjoying the 35mm above all, that one and the 50 have been the ones I go to.

I have only shot a few pics with the 90 and a couple with the 130, it feels awkward.
Especially the 130, since you have to focus in the main viewfinder and then compose and shoot with the auxiliary viewfinder.

Yeah, 135 lenses are impressive looking on a rangefinder camera, but not the handiest lens to use. Still, when you need that kind of reach, you'll be happy you have one. Save it for landscape photos of multiple mountain ridges where the compression makes for a nice composition.

You're welcome, Julio. Yashica inherited the Barnack design when they acquired Nicca for their expertise in building such cameras. These two cameras are basically just a rebranding exercise. Yashica's next camera, the fixed mount "Yashica 35" used the Contax II as a design model but used a less expensive leaf shutter instead of the focal plane curtain type.

I decided to take the plunge into stereo pictures to try and emulate the pictures of my grandfather that I posted a few years ago.
Bought this Jules RIchard Verascope that is over 100 yrs old. Jules Richard was a french enginer that popularized (some say invented) the 45x107mm glass plate format.
This is model 2 (ca 1905) that uses 45x107mm plates in a revolving type cartridge that allows to carry and expose 12 plates without having to change 1 by 1 manually.
This popularized photography at the time, to the point that by the beginning of WWI about 50% of cameras were stereo!
