Welcome, Karen! As someone who does both film (and plate) photography and woodworking, I find them to be highly complementary.

Welcome Karen!

I thought one day I would move to Roberts and use his wood workshop but now I have a second option :D

It happened the same to me getting into the forum thanks to Mike, it's one of these things in life I won't forget how lucky I was finding him and later here we the rest of the people. Great amount of knowledge here in photography and not only.

Welcome to the Forum, Karen. Sounds like you have a pretty nice set-up there on the farm. Will look forward to your future contributions to the Forum.

Welcome fellow ...er..Ottawan! (I had to look that up; I've lived here for 26 years)
Woodworking and photography indeed sounds like a fantastic combo.
Looking forward to your posts and photos.
Bill
