End of summer portraits

When medium format isn't big enough: 4x5, 5x7, 9x12, 8x10 and even larger.

End of summer portraits

Post by scott »

Hi, all -

I've been wanting to burn some 4x5 for a while, been too long, so I shot a couple end-of-summer portraits of my son today. Needs a haircut, and he's back to school for preseason cross country end of the week, but he's in a good place right now, and is a happy kid. And he still has some freckles.

The smile comes much easier these days. Both on 4x5 Arista in Adonal.

Thanks for looking.

I like the un-smiley one better. Can't say exactly why, maybe because of the shadow on his left side in the smiley one.

You've still got it, Scott. PF, might be the missing ear.

Thanks guys. FWIW I like the first be better, too. I tried to get a smile for Momma. She was unimpressed.
