Camera Porn Friday
Re: Camera Porn Friday
I also have a camera comparison to show you but not tonight. Medalist verse Rollei.
If we all saw the world the same no one would need a camera.

Another Kodak ...
Super Kodak Six-20
A nice camera. Somewhat awkward to use because of the focusing mechanism and general body shape.
There are better 6x9 cameras to use, but this is one of the more expensive ones.
I know longer own it. I admit to buying it with the sole purpose of "flipping" it.

One of the most iconic press cameras ever. The Mamiya "Press"
This one has had a hard life. The enamel paint coating is chipped and scratched and the viewfinder mask is bent but it still worked faultlessly. The Mamiya Sekor 65mm f3.5 lens is legendary. This example was fitted with the 6X9 120 roll film back and the "ivory" hand-grip.

Good thing you did, Mike, as the meter probably didn't last much longer.melek wrote:Another Kodak ...

I'm always hoping to come across one of those at some estate sale.GrahamS wrote:One of the most iconic press cameras ever. The Mamiya "Press"

Re: Camera Porn Friday
I had one once. It was good enough to mount a Kodak lens on.

Re: Camera Porn Friday
This was my first rangefinder. It was a good little camera, and I kept it until I bought a Pentax MX.
I traded the Konica to a buddy in K-9 and threw in a pellet gun and a small telescope plus several albums: Pink Floyd, Elvis Costello and the Boomtown Rats. Now that I think about it, I might have gotten a Smith & Wesson .45 as part of the deal. Or maybe I got that from another guy.
Around 2001, I bought another one. I still think it's a sweet little camera.

Re: Camera Porn Friday
They really are great little cameras. Wish I'd had one when I was in the service, so I could have gone on liberty without lugging the Nikkormat along.
I once traded a box of Playboys for a Winchester 94 lever action 30-30.

I got this camera and it looked like it had just been unboxed. I like to load it every now and then with a roll of ISO 100 film.
