I finally put together the makings of a good Nikon rangefinder outfit with the S2 Black Dial as the centerpiece. It came with a 2/5cm that has a bit of separation, and I had already accumulated a 3.5/3.5cm and 2/8.5cm, a Varifocal finder, and various caps and cases. It’s a good start.

Nice set of pictures.
I'm jealous. My first quality camera was an SP - bought new in 1958 ( wow, I guess that makes me a dinosaur ). I also eventually got the 35/3.5 and my sample was one of the best lenses I have ever owned. The equipment I have sold over the years and wish I still had..........

A most impressive outfit, PF! Congratulations! I have never seen a Nikon RF in the flesh, so my envy goes from here to the moon.
That 35 looks very sharp and with very little distortion. No wonder the Nikon RFs made the name of the Japanese camera industry.

Thanks, all. It took a while to get this far with the outfit, but I plan on expanding it further, upgrading the 35 and 50, and getting a 135.
The sushi hut was never a Fotomat, it's not even ten years old. It has been ice cream, coffee, and donut shops at one time or another, with long lulls in between business closings. I don't hold out much hope for Woody.

Oh boy, what a nice S2. I always wanted a black dial S2 myself. And a fine set of lenses you have there as well. I like the pictures you made with them too. Congrats! Enjoy the camera and good hunting for more lenses!
