I dropped out of view on the forum around 2008 as work tensions ramped up during the recession. This year I allowed myself to admit that I could pursue my favorite hobby and call it a personal business. I met at the crossroad with the devils in my past, and came away liking my new deal. Here is my happy new place at that crossroad, in Mason, Texas (formerly was in Round Rock, near Austin).

Behind the house is an honest to goodness studio, now replete with my camera collection (you guys got me started, you know) and a new Epson SureColor P800 printer that I plan to use to produce many art prints taken by my cameras, old and new.
I still swear by this quote from the old forum (by Bjorn ?):
- Cameras are for taking photographs of your wife. You buy so many cameras because you are looking for the one that conveys her true beauty. However very few cameras ever capture her beauty with any kind of accuracy, because they are all inherently flawed. But you persevere, because you love her more than anything in the world. Damn cameras.
