Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and more

If you need to unleash a rant or just have something that you want to say, you can post it here. It doesn't have to be about photography.

Well, better late than never... The Grinch doesn't stand a chance next to the frog.
Best wishes to all of you.

A little late, but I also wanted to wish everyone a great start to 2017!

I hope to burn up a lot more film this year. I just got an old Kodak Pony 135 up and running, and picked up a Nikon N90s and a Chaika 1 half-frame camera. Nothing like starting out the year with a few more neat toys!

LOL. Yeah, the Pony IV is actually a pretty sweet little camera. I shot a bunch of slides with one back around 2006/2007, and they looked fantastic. That f3.5 Anastar lens works really well. It has some softness in the corners at some apertures and distance settings, but it's still a great little lens.

The Kodak Pony that I just fixed up is the original Pony 135 model with the 51mm f4.5 Anaston lens. Going by the serial number, it was actually one of the first few made (it's numbered like 2,000 something).
