My wife decided to put a garden in this year. But so far it feels more like a construction zone . . .
My wife started twelve years ago one, now it’s not Graham’s but I really like it, ocean of peace with the trees, flowers and different bushes.
Every year will look better and better.

A garden brings peace to the soul......
I don’t know who first said that but it’s true. The other important benefit is that it provides a little patch of earth to soak up the rain and to give birds and insects somewhere safe to call home, in an otherwise desert of concrete and tarmac. In our terrace row of six houses ours is the only one that has a garden and is not concrete wall2wall!

Time ago I heard this one and I just looked for it:

If you would be happy for a week, take a wife; if you would be happy for a month, kill a pig; but if you would be happy all your life, plant a garden.
(Chinese Proverb)
