You're quite right, James. I did manage to ask my grandparents some stuff, as well as my dad, but even now I come across things I wish I could ask them. I'm fortunate in that my grandmother's brother, he of the old-fashioned football helmet above, is still alive. Unfortunately, his memory isn't what it used to be at this point.

I'm trying to record as much as I can for those who come along later. I still have hope that one of my kids will show an interest while I can still answer questions.
