Nikon has released the latest version of its Nikon 1 - The Nikon 1 S2.
The camera maker said this line is intended for photographers who are using interchangeable lens cameras for the first time. As such, the cameras come in several lively colors, which you can see above.
Here are some highlights from the spec sheet:
* The camera has 135 focus points.
* A 14.2-million pixel, CMOS sensor with no low-pass filter
* ISO range of 200 to 12800
* Nikon claims the 20 frames per second rate with AF tracking is the world's fastest
* Creative Palette lets the user apply imaging effects using the multiwheel
Nikon said it also redesigned the menu interface to make it simpler. Like other cameras these days, the camera can record HD movies, and it also can take stills while recording a movie.
