The Sigma DPxM range may have a number of "foibles", but image quality is not one of them. Here's a few images I shot last year while up in Northland that I only just discovered I hadn't processed. I particularly like how the camera renders clouds. It's also quite good for digital B&W.
A typical landscape and portrait landscape....

Your point about clouds is well made.
Those trees and boats are wonderful subjects.

I love 'Colour boats in the marina'. It has a lovely vintage look to it. Is it the colours that look like older, warmer colour film. Or the way the clouds are rendered? Or perhaps the rather classic look of the boats? Maybe it's the composition and framing... or all of the above together
Anyway, a great shot!

Paul, the little Sigma does indeed deserve all the praise you give it, but the photographer behind the camera deserves praise as well. Excellent work!
