Cameraderie: the movie

I have filmed a summary of my camera building on YouTube, covering 17 years of making and mods. It includes film shots in colour and black and white, and one or two instances of bare skin. Re: Blurb book available

Thanks, Philip ... I couldn't ask for a better review than that. There are maybe a dozen among them that I think would stand out in any context, quite apart from them being taken at a ride, and this one you mention I have exhibited several times and will again this spring in a local art group exhibi...

Re: Homemade camera toys

Just out yesterday - The Homemade Camera Podcast, podcast E44 ... Tbh, the three of us didn't stick to just cameras but went over fabrication and sculpting issues as well. If I do another I'll have to spend a bit of time on adapting roll-film-backs. http://homemadecamera.com/e44-sandeha-lynch/?fbcli...

Sandeha, it looks good. I'm looking forward to seeing the whole thing (I just ordered it! :) ) Was the square format a requirement of Blurb for the book, or did you shoot them all square? If the latter, it must be film. (Even nicer!) If you didn't shoot square, I'd be interested to know how you wen...

Re: Blurb book available

You'd be very welcome, Alex. Everything is organised via a Facebook page, and you'll probably find links there to all the other rides in the UK as well.

Blurb book available

Just to let you know that I have put together a Blurb book of photos taken with film over a seven year period, As Bare As You Dare, covering the preparations for the annual World Naked Bike Ride in Cardiff, Wales, UK. 100+ pages, with a couple of short introductory texts. https://www.blurb.co.uk/b/9...

Re: Homemade camera toys

The knobs are made up of machine nuts and bolts and a judicious selection of brass tubing sizes I picked up from a craft shop. With lashings of Araldite Metal they've held together very well. :D
