It's very interesting how hobbyists are doing really creative things with photography. This is one of the positive sides of the Internet, allowing people to share ideas and creations.

"Mr. Garden," how did you make those brass knobs for your camera?

Yeah - they definitely messed up on the last name.

The knobs are made up of machine nuts and bolts and a judicious selection of brass tubing sizes I picked up from a craft shop. With lashings of Araldite Metal they've held together very well.

Thank you for the info, Sandeha. I've been following your work on Flickr, and it has inspired me to hang on to that A16 back from my short foray into Hasselblad territory, for incorporating into either a pinhole camera, or something more conventional.

Just out yesterday - The Homemade Camera Podcast, podcast E44 ...

Tbh, the three of us didn't stick to just cameras but went over fabrication and sculpting issues as well. If I do another I'll have to spend a bit of time on adapting roll-film-backs.
