Re: B&W Reversal
ISTR the gold/brown staining is down to the bleach (there was a thread on APUG). How long between the two attempts, or did you mix fresh bleach each time? What temperature was the bleach? Do you have any Rodinal or PC-TEA? You've now made me think I need to try this again, perhaps with 120. Bleach ...

Re: Photo calendar.
I think we metric people can skip imperial and viceversa :D Pablo has to do both since he is metric and lives there :D On an unrelated note, the metric/pre-modern conversions can be a big issue In the 80s a plane almost crashed because there was a confusion between kilos and pounds, and in 1999 or ...

Re: Hanimex 35SL showed up...
Butkus has the users manual and it says PX 625
I had one for a short time, i put a SR44 battery with a rubber band and it was within 1/2 stop in the center of the metering range.

Chinon-CS

Re: Hanimex 35SL showed up...
Yeah, it’s apparently a rebranded Chinon 35CS. Operably, functionally, and compatibility wise, same same, but different. For now the meter is working with the random mercury battery that was floating in the case. Not a right now problem, lol. I bought a Japanese MR9 (Kanto) adapter for the Yashicam...

Looks more like a Chinon or Praktika than an Asahi, I dont think it will work with Silver batteries unless you adjust the circuit

Re: Flickr alternative?
Yeah, I get that, and it's always been that way. The portraits are coming down off flickr. The rest of it (like someone needs a picture of my sourdough...) I don't rightly care much about. But if I'm pulling that stuff off flickr, I'd just as soon find a cheap, better, less toxic alternative. Which...
