Re: Hanimex 35SL showed up...
Yeah, it’s apparently a rebranded Chinon 35CS. Operably, functionally, and compatibility wise, same same, but different. For now the meter is working with the random mercury battery that was floating in the case. Not a right now problem, lol. I bought a Japanese MR9 (Kanto) adapter for the Yashicam...

Re: Hanimex 35SL showed up...

Re: Flickr alternative?
Yeah, I get that, and it's always been that way. The portraits are coming down off flickr. The rest of it (like someone needs a picture of my sourdough...) I don't rightly care much about. But if I'm pulling that stuff off flickr, I'd just as soon find a cheap, better, less toxic alternative. Which...

Re: Pretending to be an XPan
I've always enjoyed the "cinematic" point of view given by pano aspect ratios. It bugs me to do it by cropping, although that's personal and irrational -- you've got good results here at considerably less pain and expense than the alternatives. I hope you keep going with it! I still haven...

Re: Restoring smooth opening on a Retina II?
Hi, all - Getting close to finishing the inaugural roll in the Retina II (14) I got last August. The one thing I couldn't sort was the door. Doesn't open freely. Should just mostly pop open when the release is pressed. This one, the latch opens, the door, well, don't. I end up tilting it forward, g...
