Re: Petzval rudbeckia
I really like this photo. The flower takes well to b&w and you set it up well so that it stsnds out. The tilt of the blossom is just right.

Re: Filters for B&W?
Thanks to all who provided answers & links to my question about using filters in b&w. Even though I've been hoping that I could simplify my photography (and the closet in our den where I store stuff) by just using digital, I think I'll keep all my old film filters and use them more. I like ...

Re: Filters for B&W?
A few days after making the post above, I searched for filters online . From the results about what's available, it seems as though there must still be a pretty good market for them. I was really surprised to see that there are b&w filters for digital cameras, too. I also found a useful cross-r...

It was an orange filter that I used. The other two that I used quite a few times were green and yellow. The only ones I used for color film adapted slide film to lighting other than what it was manufactured for-- e.g. tungsten or daylight.

Are filters for black and white film used much any more? Working on some old negatives I came across a few frames from about 15 years ago that were taken on an Olympus Pen W; the old note said that a G filter was used. I had (and probably still have) a pretty complete set of filters of the drop-in s...

Re: M2 Test Rolls
I liked all the photos and particularly enjoyed the tree settings. I don't know much about the M-2 but yours surely works well and I'm guessing the M-2 is manual so you've been working well, too! I have a question about the wall of pictures that I take to be the first in your group. Is it a window f...

Edit Title of Post?
Does someone know if it's possible to edit the title of a post? and if so, how to do it? I used a title that may be misleading and I'd like to change it. Thanks for any help!
