Nikons I've owned:
2x F, F2, F2AS, F3, F4s, F100, N65, N75, N80, 3x N90s, 4004, 2x 8008s, 2 or 3x FMs, 2 or 3x FM2s, FE2, EM, Nikkormat FT, Nikkormat FTN, Nikkormat EL, D50, D80, D5300, D610.

Presently in the house: FM, FM2, N80, D50, D5300.

And that's only the Nikons.

It's a Phalaenopsis. Helps that I worked at a nursery in SW Florida years ago. One of the easier orchids to grow.

Sorry to hear of your situation. Surprises are not always good ones. Just went through prostate cancer surgery; just came out of nowhere. Graham: I like the full frame of the D610. I bought it because I love wide angle lenses, and I really wanted to use the 20mm f1.8 Sigma.

I have always heard that Mark Hama does excellent work at a reasonable price and is a good person to deal with. I would not hesitate to use him.

Yeah, I've never had a problem with refurb equipment; my original Epson 2450, Nikkor 18-70 DX, and my new D610. Definitely cheaper than paying retail.
