I love the first one, it's a great close-up of the frost.
Winter is a difficult time of year for photography, too cold, too much light reflecting off the snow, but if you can manage to overlook all that, you can get some really cool shots!

Mike, I saw a similar snake near Huntsville a few months ago, when my sister and I visited the Dyer Memorial. He kept disappearing into the nearby bushes when I would walk by, so I never got a photo of him.

These images were achieved by clicking the shutter on my Holga several times for one frame, which I believe produces an Impressionist painting feel.
