Hi all,
A new family member from a collector keeping only his soviet cameras. I hope tomorrow I can show 3 photos taken with it, I made a patch for the 4x5 daylight tank to get the 9x12 I shot with the camera.
KW Patent Etui, front.
KW Patent Etui, left side.
KW Patent Etui, zenital view.
KW Patent Etui, folding.
KW Patent Etui, back.
KW Patent Etui, folded.
Glass plate holders.
Sheath film holder.
KW Patent Etui, extras II.
KW Patent Etui, extras III.
If you have any friend in Germany with a lot of free time maybe can help me to locate the heirs of this wedding letter-invitation.
KW Patent Etui, extras IV.
It's in a pretty good shape and the Tessar lens elements are pristine, I can fit here the Heli-Orthar n4, I checked already but first shoots had to be with its lens.
Thank you for watching.
Alex

Re: KW Patent Etui.
Info updated about the wedding invitation, it seems Klaus von Wakenitz died during WWI. Let's see if they had any kids and they went through the WWII...
Re: KW Patent Etui.
Here are the 3 photos, Ilford Delta 100 expired Apr 2017.
Hand-held, 1/50 sec @f11. Composition made with the reflex viewfinder. Focusing with Leica FOFER rangefinder. I think I got lucky.
First shot with KW Patent Etui.
Table as tripod. 1/2 sec @f6.3, focusing with Leica FOFER rangefinder. Out of focus
At the restaurant.
7 seconds @f6.3, it should has been @f8 but I got distracted. Tripod with ground glass focusing. Out of focus
The problem could be at the distance difference of the ground glass and the sheath film holder.
Xmas bouquet.
I will continue checking why these two last were out of focus. I would like all as the first shot, a Tessar from 1926 in so nice shape!
Thank you for watching and please comments are welcome.
