Sparks...

When medium format isn't big enough: 4x5, 5x7, 9x12, 8x10 and even larger.

Masterful there.

If we all saw the world the same no one would need a camera.

Dormancy is fairly common for us amateurs, as we don't have to make a living taking photos. But it comes back when other things clear out of the way. I myself haven't been shooting much film lately for various reasons, but I finally found a closer place to get mine developed. Dropped off nine rolls from last year, so should be interesting to see how they do.

You've still got the touch, Scott.

And they are perfect for that. I have one of the low-angle planes, which I reach for when I have some end grain to deal with, but I love the #18 as well.

I understand about the time. It helps to have your kids up and out. I am in the process of figuring out how to trade money for time right now myself, hoping it all works out...

Thanks guys. We're not quite empty nesters yet, but the day is coming quick. My son was home for Spring break last week - was nice having him home, but he's very much into his own schedule and priorities now, as he should be. My daughter has a few months to go, and overall she's ready.

FWIW, I got the Epson 1280 tuned up and running. I printed the plane silhouette big, and I'm happy. And I bought some FP4+ 4x5 film to see if there's a difference shooting good, fresh film rather than the Arista stuff I've always shot. Hope to try that out today. And a roll of Acros 120 is hanging from last week at the Elwood Park zoo. I'm starting to remember this.

Scott
