Yashica 230AF Super (270AF) Test

Post by PFMcFarland »

I finally got around to dragging my 230AF Super out to Smith Mountain Lake State Park for a short test of the camera functions, utilizing only one lens, the Kyocera made Yashica AF 35-105mm 1:3.5-4.5 Macro. The test was done on Kodak Ektar 100.

My two big observations are there is a lack of information in the viewfinder, and the camera tends to over expose in light that is directly coming at the lens.

First part of the test was recording a boat launching, and the second part was general scenery. The photos are at https://flic.kr/s/aHsmFsTsA1, with more to follow. Below is an example.
