Messerskiy Park.

Post by alexvaras »

Hi all,

Now I live 10 min away from this park so I guess I'm going to shoot there a lot...

First it's from Bergueil 9x12 and Heliar, Delta 100, a detail from the ponds there.

These others are from a test I have done with a Bronica GS-1 from my friend Ruslan, I took the 65mm to the park.
Camera is a joy to use, heavy but with a good strap even I can ride it with the camera at my back. It's fast when you need and very delicate at the same time, Prism AE makes all easier. Film is Portra 400.

Many more to come :)
Thank for looking,
Alex

Those snail pictures are great, Alex. For sure you will get a lot of good images from this park.

I guess that after working with the 9x12 the Bronica feels like a breeze!

It felt quite fast camera indeed, those snail pics wouldn't be possible with the 9x12 or similar, I liked how close I could get with the 65mm.

All very good photos, Alex. The Portra 400 looks nice in that lighting. Besides my hankering for a Bronica (ETRsi is what I want), you've now given me a need for a three wheel bike with dump bed! That is a good looking model, whoever makes it. Now, around here it wouldn't get much use, but if I move back to Indiana there are plenty of places where it would come in handy.

I'm getting fond of this format :)

Now at Ruslan's I have found what I think it's a Voigtlander Alpin 10x15 (I guess it was originally a triple-panoramic lens), I'm trying to get the camera back to business to join this Bergueil.

Thank you for looking.

In your talented hands, Alex, I'm sure we'll be seeing the Alpin and resulting photos in short time.
