Hi all,
More film for 10x15, this time from GDR.
Dead tree.
At internet I saw it could be developed as ASA 50 HC110 Dilution E (1+47), I shot it as ASA 40 and it turned out way overexposed but most likely overdeveloped, frames of negative are really grey... It could be fog for old negative but as someone here said the more develop time the more fog so I will try next time 8min same dilution and keeping ASA 40.
Any suggestion is welcome and thank you for watching,
Alex

I hope you have plenty of film left after you figure out the right exposure/development times. But you are getting started at a point that is much closer than you might have before begining your experiments in old film. So the experience has helped.

First time in my life I have this film, it was quite important in previous times as I can read...
24 sheets to go, shot one this morning and I will change to ASA 80 next to have more information about the right exposure and times.
Yes PF, experience with Fotopan F helped, the sheet here is really thick in comparison with modern sheet films.

Getting closer...
ASA 40, 8 min HC-110 1+47, still overexposed/developed by two but much better than the first photo. Borders still foggy, I'm afraid I won't be able to fight it, just live with it.
Roses from 1st September.
Next one ASA 80, 6 min.
Thank you for looking.

Alex, difficult for us to judge because we don't know what the original colours are in that bouquet of flowers. How about a scenic shot with blue sky and green grass and maybe flesh tones in the foreground? Otherwise, keep going, you are getting there.
