Oxtail Stew

Post by GrahamS »

This family recipe dates back to my great grandmother. Ten years ago we couldn't buy oxtail as it was classed as offal and banned in case of mad cow disease. Today, it's a delicacy thanks to a celebrity chef on TV.

That is some delicious stew!!!!
As a kid my mom used to cook tongue (lunch meat), tail, and also pig feet ... for some reason society thoguth that was not cool ;)

MadCow disease is serious, but the social engineers were too busy creating madness and went overboard banning a lot fo good things.. but hey I guess wasting food is A-OK
