Got my card from Alex today of the smiling dog. That's such a great capture. I'll need to get my cards ready for next month.

Today, 31 Dec '19, I received my card from Julio -- an exquisite shot of a small fishing boat with a dozen sailboats tied up behind it. I am guessing, Julio, that it is from a 100-speed b&w film -- is it?

I got *two* postcards todays. One was Robert's lovely 4x5 contact print of Doane's Falls (postmarked, by the way, 15 Dec -- so three weeks travel time). The other is Alex's very amusing picture of a train-travelling dog grinning ear-to-ear while taking up an entire seat. It was mailed 23 Nov -- so about six weeks travel time.
The Post Office must have been sweeping out the corners today -- we also received five Christmas cards!

Re: Postcard circle event.
Yes, it is my month, and today I mailed out my cards to everyone. I guess Alex won't even see his from November until he returns to Moscow. I wonder how they hold up in the mail systems as they are somewhat thin (printed on mat card stock).

I'm in Moscow already... The guy from school who picks up the mail knows about the postcards and he always looks for me when one arrives, I know there is a big stuck in airports due Christmas and still I hope to get all of them
