Yes, I know them already from the FB website, very helpful people and they have guided lessons (paid) that all people praise.

I came across these guys as I was looking for a Compur-Rapid guide as I had one from an Isolette that wouldn't close and after fiddling with it I just couldn't figure it out.... turned out the leaf-lever was not tight and the pin had slipped from underneath.
I had meanwhile, and foolishly, disassembled most of the "top" mechanism, so a good ronsonol cleaning was given and it works just fine

ON another site there was a big discussion pro and against Ronsonol/Nafta
I have been using it for a while to clean shutters and seems to work fine, but a repair "pro" recommended to use contact cleaner instead because it leaves no residue; calling Ronsonl "amateur piss"

Seems a bit too much??
Thoughts on the use of ronsonol???

I have noticed Ronsonal will leave something behind, but it doesn't seem to affect the workings of the shutter. True, contact cleaner is probably better, but more expensive.

I agree with Phil, first for the level of work (non pro) lighter fluid is enough, you can clean the small remains after with a lens tissue, shutter blades for example.
Second I don’t know how to find that thing here

I dont know in mother Россия but in Germany is Kontakt Reiniger https://www.weicon.de/en/products/appli ... ct-cleaner
Poland Preparat do czyszczenia styków elektrycznych
And in Russia Nano-Protech seems to offer this https://www.nanoprotech.global/eng-nano ... a-contacts which should be used by car mechanics
And LiquiMoly has the can in Russian

Found it here, other brand cheaper for about 3 bucks a can. It's spray form so still difficult to apply to tiny pieces, if used over the pieces the grease would just move from one part to another, still need to rub the dirtiness with cotton or tissue...
