Florida and the G9X

These digital cameras don't have interchangeable lenses. Among this category are the so-called bridge cameras, including those with SLR-style viewing.

Florida and the G9X

Post by scott »

Hi All -

After leaving my last job a couple weeks ago, and since we're kind of empty-nesters now, my wife and I packed off to Sarasota for a week with her snowbird parents. I took my Yashica-Mat along, shot some at an art show, but haven't quite finished the roll. Also brought along the Canon G9X MkII. Took some snapshots, which I won't post here, but we went to Nokomis Beach a few times for wine at sunset. Brought along the Canon for those.

I've said it before, the G9X is a compact camera, not a point and shoot. These were shot in full manual mode. The camera has a ton of control and is extremely capable.

Anyway, some sunset shots for y'all.

Canon G series are formidable cameras!!!
2-3-4 are great

If you can't fix it with a hammer... you got an electrical problem
even duct tape can't fix stupid.... but it can muffle it (SilentObserver)
