Yeah, about that: for those of us in the US, the USPS has halted delivery to some countries, including Uruguay, cited reason being "Suspension Due to Unavailability of Transportation". The list can be seen here: https://about.usps.com/newsroom/service ... elcome.htm. Unfortunately, there's not much to be done about it at the moment. :-(

I will hold onto Julio's postcard until service is resumed and then send it. At this point, I'm not even sure March's postcard to Graham made it through.

It is correct - our airport is down to one international flight a day in average, and only from Sao Paulo, Brazil. We are isolated for air transportation.

Hope this starts to change soon enough. We seen to have controlled well the virus but everything else is upside down.

Hang in there, Julio. I hope your country doesn't get the ants-in-the-pants syndrome and try to open up too early like they are doing here in the States. I'm guessing Graham wasn't able to get any cards out or in since early April.

Apologies to all. Our local post office, housed inside a bookshop, closed when Lockdown kicked in and our mail deliveries have been erratic ever since. I am in lockdown and staying so for the immediate future. I'll have to take up the batton when circumstances allow.

My June card to Pablo was mailed earlier this week, the 8th of June, I think. Fingers crossed for a speedy trip.

It has been a while since I have received one. . . March month maybe.
