I never knew that there was a Nikkor "P" f3.5 lens for the Bronica. Mine was a Nikkor Q.

It is a superb lens, as can be expected. Bronica were trying to penetrate the Hasselblad market at the time and would have made sure that their lenses were at least equal to the Zeiss lenses. I used both the Hasselblad with a Zeiss 80mm f2.8 Planar and the Zenza Bronica with the 75mm f2.8 Nikkor P and the 135mm f3.5 Nikkor Q. I did not see any difference between the Nikkor and the Zeiss lenses. I did a lot of fashion work outdoors with sync flash and preferred the Hasselblad for this because of the leaf shutter. Nikon built a prototype leaf shutter but did not put it into production because of reliability and patent problems. If they had made a leaf shutter for the Bronica it would have outsold the Hasselblad hands down. The Nikkor Q 135mm f3.5 was a very good lens indeed.

GrahamS, Thank you. I had thought that NIKKOR lenses must be of superb quality however finding no review left me wondering if this lens could be on the list of inferior lenses made by even the best lens makers.
