To celebrate 100 years, Leica is producing 100th Anniversary kits of several products, including a dual film and digital M, the Leica S and the D-Lux 6 -- all called "Edition 100."
Of the group, the Leica M "Edition 100" kit is notable, because it includes both a film and digital M body with three lenses. The three Summilux lenses are 28mm, 35mm and 50mm focal lengths. Leica is making only 101 of these kits.
Amateur Photographer says the Leica M "100 Edition" will sell for £40,000, which is US$67,400, depending on the daily forex rate.
Here's more information about the "100 Edition" kits that Leica will be producing.

Re: Leica's 100th Anniversary kits
Yikes, I misread this as one camera doing both film and digital, and I thought, "Sign me up." But, it's two cameras in one box. Not your fault, Mike, just my wishful thinking getting in the way.melek wrote:Of the group, the Leica M "Edition 100" kit is notable, because it includes both a film and digital M body

An awesome set for those with the money. It's simply too valuable a collectible to do anything with it, but keep it in a glass case on display however.

They've got a kit for the S model too, only it's more aligned to the user, as they are touting the savings over buying the items separately.
