Hi all -
Haven't shot as much lately as I'd have liked, but a couple that, I think, turned out okay.
In 4x5:
Sweetgum seedpods. Asanuma, Rodenstock Sironar-N 210/5.6, 4x5 Arista.EDU Ultra 100 in HC-110 dil H (7:12 at 20C).
In 8x10/18x24:
Green ball dianthus. Seneca Improved View v.4 8x10, Rodenstock Sironar-N 210/5.6, 18x24 cm Fujifilm UM-MA in HC-110 dil H (6:10 at 20C). 26" of bellows draw. This was largely trying to establish some kind of confidence in some reciprocity numbers I'm trying for UM-MA.
I get stuck a lot these days waffling between systems and formats, and it keeps me from getting anything accomplished. I'm trying, for the time being, to limit myself to the 8x10 for most everything, in an attempt to get some more time in with this camera, and some more experience with UM-MA.
Thanks for looking.
Scott

Good results, technique seems excellent. To me, the background is a bit distracting in the second one.
Sometimes switching equipment and formats is refreshing, sometimes not.

Thanks Julio. I can see what you're saying on the background. Honestly, I'm most excited because this is about the best exposed shot I've had on UM-MA. Getting into the weeds a bit.
I tried another composition on the seedpods yesterday, on 18x24. I think I like it better...

Excellent!
18x24, is that cm? That was a size for enlargements in my time! Large format indeed.

Thanks Julio!
Yes 18x24 cm. Kind of 8x10. Shooting with an 8x10 camera and dedicated holders. This is one of the two sizes UM-MA is available in.

That last photo looks perfect to me. I would be very happy if I had shot it myself.
