The pattersons are a joy to use, I have a 2 spiral from my father's (~50 yr old) and a 1-spiral that I bought in 1999

One of the tricks is to clean the spirals once in a while using an old toothbrush.
The photo-club guy at the University taught me to use bicarbonate+water paste to clean them (they were very gunky after 30 years) and after that I clean them eveyr 10 rolls or so to keep them in tip-top shape

There are a few 3d-printing models for accesories such as this 4x5 reel for the 3-spiral tank

If you can't fix it with a hammer... you got an electrical problem
even duct tape can't fix stupid.... but it can muffle it (SilentObserver)

Santiago,
Well, there is one exception: the infamous Rondinax daylight tank. I actually love that contraption
Contraption? It is my favorite for 35 mm!
Then you are another bicho raro, LOL. I've stopped using conventional tanks!

Count me in the bicho raro set! :-) I only have the 35mm version.

Anyone here using the Lab-Box for 120 film (or even 35mm)? The concept looks great but I have come across some negative user experiences on the web, so I keep loading 120 films on my Patterson tank.
