Found something today...

Post by scott »

Honestly forgot I had it.

Rolleiflex "New" Standard, Tessar taking lens. Not an automat, but but easy enough to set the first frame. Bought this, geez, not even sure when. I cleaned up the shutter and it's still running perfectly. The glass was in the worst shape of any lens I've ever dealt with:

Cleaned up well though.

I originally fixed this up to be a user for my son. He used it exactly once. Not his thing. Fine, it's mine now. Need to figure out new coverings - I think Hugo Studio may be able to make a covering for this model.

I'm rediscovering a love of TLRs lately - I'm looking forward to running some film through this'n.

Good job with that cleaning.
Yes, Hugo Studio have good materials, I have used them a couple of times and they are really good coverings.

Thanks guys. I can't remember how the ad was worded but they didn't give any hint that the glass was so bad. I was very pleased with how it cleaned up.

Alex, I've used Hugo Studio once before, for my Konica I. Was happy then. I sent an inquiry to them about the Rollei last night, will see what they say.
