My maternal grandmother's maiden name was Flora McLeod. She came from the Isle of Skye in Scotland and was the youngest of thirteen siblings. Here she is with my cousin Stewart (left) and myself (right) in 1949.

Flora and my grandfather Fred Marks were the creators of the Victorian Old Time Dance Circle, a chain of dance clubs that danced dances from Victorian times. The BBC had a radio program called "Come Dancing" and they hosted a SABC program of the same name.
