The Isolette 3 goes West

Post by titrisol »

I took the family on a trip to SouthDakota and Wyoming... including the newly restored Isolette III
Some pictures with expires APX 100 that was developed in Rodinal 1:10 (by accident) for 4:00min

It's working good! And so is the photographer.

Both the camera and the Rodinal seem to work just fine. Nice images and nice tonality. Bravo!

I took this with the DSLR, and showed it during a meeting of the "Colectivo Fotografico" of Ecuador
They invited me to include it in one of their shows!

I shot some HP5 as well but it seems to have been damaged by the XRay machines!

Did this go through the checked-in bags scanner?

If it only went through the carry-on / cabin bags scanner, then it is possible that there is an issue with the film itself - if that's the case, then maybe worth sending Ilford an email to see what they think? What developer, dilution & time did you use for the HP5?

The roll of APX looks good, and no issues apparent on the digital image ;-)

Does look like X-ray damage.
