Did you adapt it to a Leica?

If you can't fix it with a hammer... you got an electrical problem
even duct tape can't fix stupid.... but it can muffle it (SilentObserver)

Thanks! Yes, cheap adapter from Amazon. Scale focus, of course, but that just makes things more fun, LOL

That Planar is one of the best 50mm ever made IMHO.
