If brontosaurus carried cameras.

Post by P C Headland »

Hunting through the fridge a few weeks back, I "found" some rolls of Agfa 160 Portrait (120). Needing to head out of the city to to run a few errands, I grabbed a roll and loaded up the Fujica G690. Being early spring, the weather was typically changeable with rain, clouds and blue sky. Still, at least it provides lovely, lush greens.

The Agfa 160 expired some 20 years ago, so I took a stab and exposed it at 100. Seemed to work well enough.

Threatening skies:

Shooting portrait (orientation, not film stock ;)) is not that easy with the G690, as unlike the later fixed lens cameras, it only has the one shutter release.

Green, green pastures:

A hint of sun:

And finishing the day with nice, clear blue skies!

Shooting portrait (orientation in this case) is not that easy with the G690, as unlike the later cameras it only has the one shutter release.

Does not look like 20-years-old film! Those greens are splendid, you must have had a lot of rain lately.

I like those trees.

We tend to get quite a bit of rain, and the dark clouds mixed with the sun tends to saturate the colours even more.

All great, and as much as I love the tree shot, that first one is moving.
