'Morning, everyone -
Apologize for the OT interruption. Felt like doing a little dad bragging.
My daughter started getting into ceramics her freshman year of college. Used it as a quiet mental health break from school, classes, etc. She graduated in May, and continues her pottery at a local studio. Goes often and says, "I'm not going to be there long, just need to trim a coupl,e things," then comes back eight hours later. I'm glad she has an outlet.
Anyway, she made (after asking me some preferences on colors and design) these soup crocks for me as an early birthday present. Filled one with gumbo yesterday, which (of course) made it the best gumbo ever.

Vey appreciative and thankful to have had this time with her between school and her starting the rest of her life.
That's all.

Did you say, "freshman year of college"? Well, those years certainly flew by, didn't they?

Thanks, everyone! I’m just glad she has an outlet. And all the espresso mugs are a great bonus!
Yeah, Mike, scary fast. And accelerating every year.

Really nice work from her! I love the colours! You can be rightfully proud of her.
