Photo calendar.

Post by alexvaras »

I have the silly idea of doing a calendar for 2026 and one of the things I would like to include is those days "for using this or that type of camera"
Example: 1st May is Commie Camera day or 12th July is 127 film camera day...

I think you had something like this in Nelson Photo... anyone keeps a record of it? :)

Thanks!
Alex

I remember Pinhole day, Toy camera, etc

You could invent some new dates, while you are at it. How about June 6 and April 4 for square format, January 20 for 120 film, May 13 for 35mm, May 4 or December 9 for LF…

I cant really think in Imperial/Arcane measurement system but have to use it every day and rememeber that most of those are remnants of the Roman empire.... SPQR! :D
You forgot Pentax Day (18/5)
Stereo Photography day 21/6
Cyanotype day 26/9 (last saturday of september)
Pinhole Day 26/4 (ltas sunday in april)

For those of us that deal with sensible date formats :D

12 February = 122 day
11 June = 116 day
12 June = 126 day
12 July = 127 day

etc.,

Plus of course:
5 April = 5x4" (UK speak)
