If you can't fix it with a hammer... you got an electrical problem
even duct tape can't fix stupid.... but it can muffle it (SilentObserver)

On an unrelated note, the metric/pre-modern conversions can be a big issue
In the 80s a plane almost crashed because there was a confusion between kilos and pounds, and in 1999 or 2000 a mars lander crashed because of poor unit conversion.

In my work as engineer is even worse as I have to deal with all sorts of units, and 25% of my spreadsheets are devoted to make sure all conversions are accurate (all my calcs are in metric, it;s just easier)
